Accurel Systems International Corporation
Creates Silicon Valley Center for Failure Analysis,
Electron Microscopy and Focused Ion Beam Circuit Edit Services

Sunnyvale, CA — 3 May 2007 Evans Analytical Group LLC (EAG), the leading global provider of materials characterization services, announced today that it has acquired the operations and assets of Accurel Systems International Corporation (Accurel) from Implant Sciences Corporation (IMX) of Wakefield, MA. Accurel is a leading provider of advanced Failure Analysis (FA), Microscopy, and Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Circuit Edit Services based in Silicon Valley .

The Accurel purchase, along with the acquisition of Advanced Materials Engineering Research, Inc. With the acquisition of Accurel, EAG now offers convenient access to advanced microscopy on both the East and West coasts through its highly respected advanced microscopy lab in Raleigh, North Carolina and the Sunnyvale, California center. By establishing a comprehensive Silicon Valley center for failure analysis, electron microscopy and FIB circuit edit, EAG has substantially expanded its resources and capabilities, and extended its reputation as the most respected and recognized commercial analytical lab in surface analysis and materials characterization.
